The first Klein Conference was held in Madeira, Portugal, from 1-4 October, 2009. It was organised by CIM, hosted at the Universidade da Madeira, and also supported by CMUC, CMAT, and CMAF. There were about 100 participants, predominantly from Portugal and Brazil.

Castro-Urdales (Spain, near Santander) from 2-5 June 2010
The second Klein conference was held in Castro-Urdales (Spain, near Santander) from 2-5 June 2010, sponsored by I-Math and hosted by the CIEM . Belo Horizonte (Brazil), July 2010
Yuriko Baldin has established "Projeto Klein em Língua Portuguesa" which had its first meeting of about forty people in July 2010 in Belo Horizonte (see link below). The themes were Numbers and Functions. The second meeting will be in João Pessoa in mid-October, with the themes Arithmetic and Algebra.
